BACK STAGE VOLUNTEERS: Mandatory Volunteers
Meeting Held Friday, April 28th 6:30PM
★We are still short a few volunteers for back stage, will accept volunteer parents from any class (not necessarily your own) after 4/10/17. If you are interested please sign up on the bulletin board and plan on attending the volunteer meeting.
★The mandatory volunteers meeting will be held on Friday, April 28th at 6:30p.m. Volunteers ONLY may receive up to 12 tickets this day. We will draw numbers to determine order of purchase. Please remember that ALL tuition, including May tuition, must be paid first unless you use monthly auto withdrawal.
SHOWCASE PROGRAM ADVERTISEMENTS, FLOWER & T-SHIRT SALES:
★The best deal & easiest way to order our Showcase tickets, flowers, t-shirts, DVD’s & program ads is via our new “Bundle” option that is due on APRIL 9TH. See the order form sample for details and place orders at the desk. Each of these items may also be ordered individually.
★If you would like to advertise your business, or just congratulate your performer, consider purchasing an Ad in our Showcase program. Details regarding these ads are being distributed now & non-bundle orders are due May 4th. Part of the proceeds benefits the Super Starz Dance Troupe. This year’s program will include a group photo of each and every class! Payments for Showcase ads should be made out to: SSDB.
★Our booster club sells flowers at our Showcase as a fundraiser for our troupes. Non-bundle orders for Rose or mixed flower bouquet must be submitted at the front desk by May 14th. Your flowers will be ready for you to pick up at the flower table at Showcase.
★Showcase T-shirts are also available for pre-order. Forms are now being disbursed and are due May 14th.
COSTUMES & PICTURE WEEK:
★Costumes and tights are now being disbursed. Please try on, and check through your costume and accessories when you receive them. If you enrolled after Jan. 1st 2017, if you paid your deposit late, or if you changed classes, your costumes may not yet be in.
★Most of our costumes have extra accessories that need to be sewn on, or placed in specific ways on the costumes. One student from each class will model the costumes during watch week in April so that parents may see where these pieces are placed. If you miss this class, please come in as soon as possible to pick up your costume and check on these accessories.
★Performers should wear light eye shadow, blush, and lipstick so as not to appear “faceless” under the bright stage lights. Light makeup should also be worn for pictures. Please do not wear any hair or body glitter, or jewelry of any kind.
PICTURE WEEK IS MAY 1-4TH: PARENTS PLEASE ATTEND
WITH CHILDREN FOR ALL PHOTO SESSIONS!
★Professional photographs will be taken in costumes during regular classes May 1-4TH. All students with costumes must participate in the group photo sessions; however purchase of individual photos is optional. Several packages are available. Father Daughter pictures will be taken during May 6TH rehearsals. A display of photo packages available will be posted in the lobby soon.
PLEASE NOTE: PARKING IS GOING TO BE VERY DIFFICULT, PLEASE CAR POOL WHENEVER POSSIBLE!!
All costume balances, and tuition must be paid in full to purchase tickets (excluding auto w/d customers)
★VOLUNTEERS get to purchase tickets first at the 4/28/17 meeting. 2 free and up to 10 more may be purchased.
★BUNDLE ticket orders will be available for selection on Sat. 4/29/17 from 10-noon. Up to 10 total may be purchased.
★ALL OTHER FAMILIES Tickets may be purchased beginning Saturday May 6th from 10-Noon, and during regular hours Mon-Thurs 5-8pm thru May. All seating is assigned. Ticket sales are unlimited so purchase yours early to get the best seats! We do not anticipate any problems filling all ticket requests this year but please purchase early to ensure this. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. You must know how many seats you want for which nights when you buy them. And Dad’s involved in Father Daughter routines will need a ticket if they plan on sitting in the theater before or after they perform.
FATHER DAUGHTER ROUTINES:
★ Rehearsal dates are April 29th, May 6th(pictures), & May 13th . Times are based on the daughter’s age and are now posted on the bulletin board. No more sign-ups will be taken. We will clarify costume specifics in your first rehearsals. Please double-check the spelling of names on the program.
★Our next shoe order will be placed on April 7th & May 5th. If you need shoes for Showcase, please order immediately.
